What makes Next125 Worktops such good quality?
Next125 have created a number of standardised test series that guarantee the consistently high quality of Next125 kitchens so that you can enjoy your kitchen for longer!
This outstanding quality has been certified by independent bodies.
Resistance to chemicals
Kitchen surfaces come into contact with a wide range of substances such as juices, acids, cleaning products and many more. This is why Next125 perform thorough resistance tests.
Heat test, dry and moist
This test provides information on resistance to heat. The temperature for testing worktops is up to 180°C. Colour, shine and resistance to blistering must be maintained.
Microscratch resistance
In the case of work surfaces, Next125 test resistance to microscratches, the resistance of matt surfaces to shiny patches and the resistance of high gloss surfaces to deadening.
Plastic Edges
Lamination with plastic edges takes place in the factory using PU glue in a matching colour. This makes the very fine gap watertight and practically invisible.
Sealing
On worktops with laminate edging, the front lengthwise edge of the worktop is sealed from below with a moisture resistant laminate.
Tongue and Groove
Connecting worktops at right angles in this way produces a smooth, hightly precise joint which is glued together for a water-tight seal. The groove depth is almost invisible.
Worktop Connector
The connecting fittings provided and the water-resistant adhesive produce a perfect, seamless and sealed joint between worktops.
