Choosing the right Neff Oven and Hob
Choosing your appliances for your new kitchen can be exciting but also daunting. There are so many different types and sizes of ovens and hobs to question which one is right for me? Ovens that connect to the internet; extractors that judge the extraction you need; self-cleaning ovens; ovens and microwaves in one; ceramic, induction or gas hobs; digital controls and programmable timers to name but a few functions to consider. Here is our step by step guide to our NEFF ovens and hobs which we hope you will find useful.
NEFF OVENS
Designed to be the centre piece of the creative kitchen NEFF offers a unique slide and hide door enabling you to get closer to your cooking with this innovative space saving disappearing door. NEFF unique slide and hide ovens are available with 5 different control displays for navigating the cooking features, from full touch control operation to small LCD display for simplicity if you want it. With single ovens, double ovens, combination ovens, microwave ovens, built-under ovens and compact ovens, the choice is yours.
Iconic Cirotherm hot air system comes as standard, enabling cooking on multiply levels. This enables you to roast and bake completely different dishes on all levels with no intermingling flavours.
The Home Connect feature allows you to bake and roast from anywhere. With Wi-Fi connected get a notification when dinner is ready! Add Voice control to keep messy hands on the cooking only.
When it comes to cleaning, the Pyrolytic Self-Cleaning makes tidying up after cooking a breeze. The oven practically cleans itself activating a high temperature of up to 485 degrees turning cooking residue into dust. Choose between vario steam and full steam. Vario steam gives dishes just the right amount of moisture by adding steam at three intensity levels. Full steam, ideal for fish and vegetables retaining nutrients, gives you all the benefits of a full featured oven together with those of a steam cooker.
With comfort flex telescopic rails, lift dishes safely and comfortably out of the oven.
Take the guesswork out of cooking with the NEFF Meat Probe with multi point temperature probe which measures the joint’s heat at three points.

NEFF HOBS
With six different options of hobs to choose, it is important to choose the right hob that suits you, your lifestyle and your family life.
Induction hobs – Induction hobs are considered the safest of hobs and offer a better cooking experience as the pan is heated, not the hob. They work by generating electro-magnetic energy and transferring it to the pan when it is on the hob. Electronically controlled coil of copper sits under each cooking zone of the hob. When the cooking zone is turned on, the current flows through the coil and generates a fluctuating electro-magnetic field with no heat on the burner itself. When the pan is placed on the hob the magnetic field induces smaller electric currents which cause it to heat up. The surface of the hob is safe to touch straight after cooking. You will need to check if your pans are compatible. A useful tip – This can be done by testing a fridge magnet on the bottom of your pans.
Venting hobs – Combining a hob with an integrated extractor fan giving the freedom from a conventional wall or island hood. Stylish and space saving with flex induction cooking surface. Great for kitchen island or kitchens with limited space.
Flex induction hobs – enable you to cook with many different size pans anywhere on the hob. The hob has zones, much larger than the previous designated rings. The hob detects where the pan is and just applies the energy to that one area.
Ceramic hobs – are a simpler type of electric hob, easy to clean but the ring does stay hot which mean food can burn onto it. Any cooking pot or saucepan can be used but they do take longer to heat up and cool down as opposed to induction hobs. These hobs do use slightly more energy than the induction hob.
Domino hobs – Rectangular in shaped these versatile small hobs can be mixed and matched to create a cooking station to suit you. Placed alongside another hob, you can cook with different styles such as teppan yaki, gas, ceramic and induction.
Gas hobs – Robust and reliable method of cooking, heat controllable and instant heat when you want it. Although harder to clean they can be used with any type of pan.
Whatever your cooking style there is a NEFF oven and hob to suit you.
